Problems With Avast
If you have your Avast Antivirus installed and you also have the licence key but still your Avast Antivirus (version 6.0 to 8.0 or higher) is not updating then you should follow the following simple steps to make it happen:
1. You need a good working Internet connection.
2. You need to update your Windows after installing the Avast 6.0 version or higher.
3. Now confirm the windows update. You do not need to update it full.
4. Now start the Avast Update.
Now you Avast is updated. But you still need to Update its virus definitions once a week.
