GTA IV Installation and Activation problems

INSTALLATION WITH  CD ON WINDOWS 7:   You can Install GTA 4 either by actual CD or by copying data from the location on another computer where GTA IV is installed (i.e, by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games).
After installation by CD it asks you to connect to the internet to check the "Release Date" and for online activation of the game.
If you don't have internet connection you can perform an offline activation by clicking on "Activate Manually" button and proceed as follows:

OFFLINE ACTIVATION WITH CD: You will be provided with an unlock request code and serial no. Serial no. is written on the backside of the user manual provided to you with CD/DVD.
